Shipping Associate

Hamel, MN

Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill a direct hire Shipping opening with a company located in Hamel, MN. Interested candidates should have shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Shipper Job Description:

• Package items per customer requirements and prepare for shipment.
• Utilize company computer system and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Ship prepared orders.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with company personnel and others. Shipper Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years shipping experience in Domestic, International, LTL, and FTL
  • Ability to lift and package large or irregularly shaped items effectively.
  • Knowledge and understanding of international shipping documents preferred - Including Commercial Invoice, Cert of Origin, USMCA, SLI, and FTA's
  • Intermediate computer skills with previous ERP software experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Word and Excel)
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions.
  • Ability to work individually or as a team.
  • Desire to learn new tasks and grow on the job.
    
    Compensation for Shipper:
    
    The starting salary for this position is $20 to $23 per hour (DOQ).
